Terms of service:

general terms:

  • All drawings may or will include a subtle sign that you may not remove.

  • I have the right to decline a commission

  • please do not; Claim art as your own, remove my signature or alter it in any way without consent. (this means ***do not feed my art to any form of ai ***)

  • I may record the process of your commissioned piece and post it on tiktok or twitter (I will, of course, ask beforehand and you can tell me if you'd like me not to.)

  • If you do allow me to post your commission's process, i will tag you.

  • if you'd like your commission to be used commercially please ask beforehand

payment + refund:

  • all my payments are through Stripe so when commissioning I do require the commissioner's email.

  • All my prices are in USD.

  • Set prices do not inculde payment fee.

  • Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval.

  • please don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and request that you send me the payment.

  • the commissioner is not able to get a refund after I have started on the art piece (meaning after the sketch approval)

  • If I am unable to start your commission for any reason, you will receive a full refund

Processing, revision and delivery:

  • I will notify you when I have started on your commission

  • While I'm working on your commission I will make reviews with you to make sure you are satisfied with the piece.

  • the number of reviews will most likely depend on the complexity of the piece

  • you are allowed to request for a review if you feel like the commission is taking a while although please do not request if I've only just given you an update

  • During the reviews, you will see work-in-progress and these images will usually include a watermark and be smaller than the finished piece

  • you can request up to 2 changes on the commissioned piece although after I start rendering I will not be able to change anything too major

  • A fee will be added if you want something changed on the final drawing - unless a misunderstanding from my side has been made

  • If you wish for me to change something in the drawing you have previously approved, I will charge you a fee to change it. (The amount of the extra charge depends on the change you want me to make)

  • If your reference is unclear to start with changes will come at an extra charge

  • The time it takes to finish your commission varies from 1 week to 2 months depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, other work and any other situation that may take me away from the commission

  • If anything were to come up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time I will let you know asap

  • Once the piece is finished you will receive the full-resolution image (note: it will not be a physical product)

customer satisfaction:

  • I will do anything in my power to make my clients happy.

  • If there are any problems that arise regarding the commissioned piece please contact me and we can figure it out together

  • I am happy to slightly alter some of my terms if needed, please ask or tell me before I start the commission (eg. if you don't want me to post your art comm anywhere, etc.)

copyrights and usage policy:

I, KAIYA SYN as the artist have the rights to the product, not the client. so I am allowed to use the work for:
promote myself on any platform
display and promote anywhere id like.
(i will not post it on socials if you ask politely before I finish your commission)
As the client, you can:
Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles,etc)
Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, however, may not claim the artwork itself.
Use the artwork to promote themselves (You are not forced to give me credit when you post it but it is very appreciated)
